At Best Training we can offer you Free Literacy & Numeracy courses leading to National Certificates accredited by either City & Guilds or OCR. We have tutors qualified in adult learner support covering both specialisms

ECDL Certification

The European Computer Driving Licence, ECDL is the required IT qualification for many companies and government services, such as the NHS. Best Training offer courses & exams to help you achieve this qualification.

ITQ - Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills

The new ITQ is a full level 2 qualification and an equivalent level to an NVQ, however you do not have to be working to take this qualifcation. It comprises 3 or 4 units of the ECDL together with an assessed module Improving Productivity using IT.

Matrix is an externally accredited quality standard recognising an organisation's ability to provide Information, Advice & Guidance for learning and work. 
Customer First is an externally accredited quality standard recognising the manner in which companies engage with employers. It covers relationships, market awareness & staff training.

Microsoft IT Academy

Best Training is a Microsoft IT Academy We can offer a full range of Microsoft Official courseware together with Microsoft examinations.

You don't have to have studied with us to sit Microsoft exams at our centre - if you have the skills just call to book an exam.

Best Training - courses to suit your business or lifestyle

Best Training was established in 2000 to offer training to individuals and businesses in Sheffield. Since 2003 we have offered government funded courses through learndirect. We are accredited through OCR, City & Guilds, Edexcel, BCS and we are a Microsoft IT Academy. We hold quality accreditations from Customer First and Matrix

Learndirect - Government Funded Training

As a contracted Learndirect centre we are able to offer funded courses in Skills for Life and some Business and Management courses. To qualify for this funding you must be a UK National or have lived in the UK for at least 3 years. If you are an Asylum Seeker or Refugee you will also qualify.

The Skills for Life courses are free. For the IT courses, the ITQ is free but we make a small charge for other IT courses.

Life in the UK Citizenship Testing

Best Training is the South Yorkshire test centre for the Home Office Life in the UK test. This test has to be sat by all applicants for indefinite leave to remain or for Citizenship. Call 0114 2664704 for our bookings and advice hotline. Click on the Citizenship tab for more information
